Alana Evans, BFA
Profile
Alana's passion for creativity started as a child growing up in Penticton, BC, in the wine and orchard region of Canada. Evans was entered into juried art shows and festivals at elementary age. After moving to the Greater Vancouver region and excelling at art studies in high-school, Evans was accepted to into the Visual Arts Degree program at Emily Carr University of Art and design. Upon completing her degree program with a BFA in Visual Arts, she took time to develop her career in professional architectural building material sales.
Alana has been working on oil painting both in a studio practice as well as plein air landscape studies, and has been exhibiting her work. She is currently involved in her community as an elected board member of the Langley Arts Council in the Fraser Valley BC.
